Exchange-Traded Fund
An exchange-traded fund is a fund that pools investors’ money in a variety of investments. Like traditional mutual funds, exchange-traded funds are publicly traded on national exchanges. Unlike traditional mutual funds, which are priced only at the end of a trading day, investors can purchase and sell exchange-traded funds like ordinary stock because they are priced continuously throughout the trading day.
