The Federal Trade Commission, with the concurrence of the Office of Government Ethics (OGE), is issuing a regulation for officers and employees of the FTC that supplements the Standards of Ethical Conduct for Employees of the Executive Branch issued by OGE on August 7, 1992. The supplemental rule requires FTC employees to receive prior approval to engage in outside employment.
